Cupcake pops

The sewing room did not get cleaned.

Now it only looks like an army of trolls stomped through it.

I did unearth a bunch of fun goodies I’ll be sharing with you all over the coming week! So my attempted clean-up was not in vain.

How about some creative food instead? I’ve been in awe of the creations Bakerella has whipped out of her kitchen! Check out the latest use for balloons!

You know that monster party? Well I made Bakerella’s cupcake pops…75 of them!

It was a process!  But they turned out so cute!

Will I make them again? Maybe.  Probably. Oh shoot, you bet I will!

 The cover inspired me!  We had to have pink and purple,  it was a little girl party after all!

Sewing Room Disaster

A bomb went off?

A group of mischievous pixies invaded my house?

A hurricane?

Tornado?

No just rabid procrastination on my part. I created a disaster with the projects I’ve recently been working on and haven’t cleaned up. Every time this happens I swear it won’t happen again. So today I’m cleaning, organizing and reassessing my sanity for letting it get this bad.

Another T

Another birthday, another t-shirt.  The dragon comes from Embroidery Library, the saying I digitized myself.  A bit of hoop burn, but that will wash right out. 

Looked like the birthday boy liked it...I know his older brother did for sure!

sick...

4 yr old:  "I need to go to bed right now because I'm sick"

Dad: "Good idea.  Get lots of sleep to feel better"

next morning:

"DADDYYYYY! I went to bed early and I'm still sick!"

Embroidered T

Did some digitizing and machine embroidery today.  A friends youngest child had a birthday, he loves soccer, so I thought we'd surprise him with a little something.  The green bit of fleece is embroidered with designs that came on my machine.  I didn't care much for that test, so I digitized the ball and K myself.  It took some doing, and I'm sure if I gave myself more time it would have turned out even better.  But overall it looked good.  I included the test stitch outs in the gift bag as well.  He's a crafty kid, I'm sure he'll do something with it!

 “What’s an anniversary?” daddy asks

“I don’t know.”

“It’s a party to celebrate when mommy and daddy got married”

“That means there’s cake!” (big smile on face)

“No, not really…”

“Isn’t there a wedding cake?”  :-)
