I will never make these again! I know I’ve said that before, but this time I mean it!
My 10 year old came up with the idea of “water balloon” cake pops. Sure, why not. How hard could they be?
Turns out, very! It was difficult to shape them, then I came upon the idea to use a Hershey’s kiss for the tied end of the balloon…then came the part I dread the most and the part I am really bad at: the dipping.
After a glass of this,
I became a pro.
A pink and blue balloon…looks like I’m making them for a baby shower.
All done! Candles are blown out and the kids are clamoring to eat them.
In a wine inspired moment I sent hubby out to buy licorice to make balloons on a string. The one good thing about this type of birthday cake—no cutting or utensils required!

Another Day, Another T-shirt
Another embroidered T-shirt and the test embroidery for it...I'm getting my mileage out of this design!

Little summer dress
One of my all time favorite little girl creations! I made this dress for my oldest daughter (who is about to turn 10!). Now my youngest child is wearing it! The simplest sundress, with matching bloomers (not shown).
I’ll have to go through my stash and see if I still have any of this fabric left. Originally I bought the fabric to make matching mother-daughter dresses. That didn’t happen. But I still love this print as much as I did when I originally bought the fabric 9 years ago…guess there really are some prints which are timeless.
